Gatsby Girls

Oh how I LOVE "just for fun" shoots!!  Tonya was in the throes of planning her next workshop and decided to do an impromptu shoot to launch the registration for it.  Lucky me... I got to come along and hang with her through the gathering of jewelry and outfits, and then for the actual shoot which was AWESOME!  It is so nice to get to be inspired by the creativity of other photographers, and to get to shoot things that are so exciting, and out of the ordinary.  Her theme for the next workshop (which you should totally look into... It is going to be AMAZING!) is The Great Gatsby.  So Tonya created these stunning Gatsby Girls, and they let us swoon over their gorgeous faces all afternoon.  Jess and Jessica were perfect models, and were so easy going, and easy to shoot.  I was in absolute love with the pictures from the very start... they just made every picture fantastic!

Archung Family Sneak Peek

Oh I loved this session!  The Archung's were super friendly, and amazingly cute!  Their 5 year old twins were killing me... so darling, and so wonderful at posing and smiling... I swear I could have shot this family all night!  And let's be serious... the two pictures at the end of Mommy and Daughter dancing in the orange grove... Worth their weight in gold.  In my opinion there are few things sweeter than genuine "moments" like these are captured of a Mommy with her babes.  Can't you just "feel" these pictures?  Feels like happy!!

Kerber Family

I do not know how I get so lucky to work with such great people! Seriously I love every single client I have!  There may or may not be subliminal messaging on my site to attract the nicest people ;) Because I swear I get them every time!  The Kerber's, of course, were no exception to this rule... what a FUN family they are!  Mom and Dad were such wonderful sports for attempting family pictures with four little ones anyway (next year there'll be five... how fun is that?!)... and ANY dad who can suffer through get through family pictures and still end with a smile on his face is a winner in my book :)

Jon and Mallory-

Your family is such a delight... and I never think it's possible, but somehow you are cuter every time I see you!  You are both such wonderful parents, and all four and a half of your children are so blessed to have you!  You're a lucky bunch to have a life that's built around fun, togetherness, and genuine love for each other... can't wait to meet #5!!

Henkel Family

I love this family!  Chad and my husband met years ago in college and became best buddies literally the first day of their first class together.  And I can't say that I blame my husband... Chad is seriously, hands down, one of the funniest people I've ever met in real life.  He had me doubled over in hysterics during our session...and there's almost nothing I love better than a good laugh!  And Crystal is the sweetest, most easy going little lady.. I love this pair!  I was so excited when they moved down here to Southern California a few months ago... now when we get together it's just like to good ol' days in college... just with a whole lot more little people running around!

Lovely Lucy

This lovely little lady was so much fun to shoot! Mainly because I fell in love with her whole family as soon as I walked in the door!  They were all so friendly, and welcoming, and I felt like we were long lost buddies.  I was sad when our shoot was over and I had to leave!  Especially because Lucy was such a gem... such a little rollie pollie with the best chubby cheeks.  And for only being 3 weeks old her head was  SO strong!  We put her on her tummy and she was in heaven, and just lifted that little head up and looked around until we moved her.. no head bobbing or anything.  I was impressed!  Lucy wasn't sure about the whole picture thing when we first started, so we did a little shooting of her new family while Mom could hold her, and she could warm up to the idea of being the center of attention ;)

Larry and Claudia- Congratulations on your newest little girl!  Your entire family is beautiful, and Lucy sure is lucky to have come into a family where so many people dote on and love her!  You guys were so great and I can't wait to see you again in a few weeks for family pictures!!
