Lexi Jean

Last weekend I got to travel down to Lake Elsinore and meet sweet little Lexi.  She was only 10 days old and I had to force myself to put her down and take pictures of her!  She was a little angel and slept the entire time... and every time I got to pick her up to change her outfit or position, I just wanted to snuggle her!  She is the fifth baby, and just as cute as everyone of her big brothers and sisters.  She is officially the last little one who will be joining this family, and it is obvious that everyone is so happy she's finally here, and enjoying having a newborn in their home again.  

Congratulations Jon and Mallory!  You guys are five for five in the beautiful baby department!  Soak her in...

Roger and Laura

My favorite thing about engagement session is, of course all the giddy excitement about the upcoming wedding, but also watching two people who are so in love interact with each other.  I typically show up to sessions and have never met the people who I am photographing, and don't know much of anything about them besides what I've gathered through limited email communication.  But it is so fun to watch them love each other... to see how beautiful the other person is in the eyes of their betrothed.  I get the chance to see them as their better half sees them, and that is always in the most beautiful way. By the end of the session I feel like I'm in love with them too! :) 

Roger and Laura were an absolute delight.  They are so excited and anxious about starting their lives together.  They were funny, and energetic, and so much fun to be around.  I had so much fun with them, and can't wait for their wedding in 2 short months!  I know that will be one happy, happy day!  Laura you will be a beautiful bride, and I know that Roger agrees!  Happy engagement!!  See you soon :)

Gaereth and Kelly

A couple of weeks ago I got to attend another fantastic Tonya Joy stylized shoot with the gorgeous Gaereth and Kelly.  And wowza... it was b-e-a-utiful!  Tonya's styling was flawless (as usual... and wait until you see the music sheet decoupaged chair... are you kidding?!  so cool!), Leslie Cordero was on hair and makeup and executed that like a boss, the talented Nancy of Oak and the Owl made that fabulous bouquet, the location was a dream, and the couple was so so pretty!  Plus there were a bunch of other photographers there, and it is always so nice to be with people who love what you love.  So fun to make new friends, and enjoy the thrill of shooting something gorgeous together. 

Gaereth and Kelly were stunners.  I've known Kelly for a couple of years, and always thought she was so beautiful, and I was so excited to get her in front of my camera!  It was extra neat that they were the couple able to do this shoot, because the second part of it was wedding inspired.  I had no idea, but they have almost no pictures from their wedding.  Sadly, they have only a few 4x6's and some low resolution images on a cd.  That just makes me cringe!  So a few years, and two adorable little boys later, it was so fun that Tonya was able to create some beautiful faux-wedding images for these two.  It's  not the same as having the real thing, but I think it's a pretty close second ;)  Enjoy!!
